Came out due to new condenser fan motor (installed by someone else) is getting hot and then shutting down, which then whined up tripping breaker, upon arrival performed service checklist by checking motors, voltages, amperages, filter, delta t, drain line, capacitors, contactor, refrigerant charge, etc., etc.. while performing checklist found that according to data plate on condenser fan motor it needed a 15uf capacitor, and that the capacitor that was installed was a 20uf capacitor. Replaced capacitor with a 15uf and started up system, system I was operating with an 18° delta T with 76° coming into the system and 58° leaving system. Also found that compressor was pulling 18.2A of 18.3RLA, recovered just a little bit of refrigerant and was able to get compressor Amps down to 17.2, but that suction saturation temperature was reading 37° with the temperature in the house being at 76°, this indicates that the evaporator coil is clogged, so client does need to pay attention to suction line
Warranty/ came out due to fan not spinning, upon arrival performed service checklist by checking motors, voltages, amperages, drain line, delta t, capacitor, contactor, refrigerant charge etc., etc.. while performing checklist found that all breakers for system were in the off position, turned them to the on position, the turned system on and to the cooling mode, system is operating per manufacturer specifications. Please see check list for details.
Came out to meet with manufacturer of brand new system to diagnose why the system refused to start up on start up, after further investigation replaced both control boards for the indoor and the outdoor unit to allow them to communicate with each other, than performed the QC by checking wiring, motors, voltages, amperages, overall seal of system, overall cleanliness of install, drain lines, float switch, surge protectors, air scrubber, refrigerant charge, etc. etc.. while performing QC found that I did need to adjust TXV, adjusted TXV to allow for more superheat and subcooling. System is now operating per manufacturer specifications, please see pictures in history to see refrigerant charge for today in 1st stage.
Came out due two rooms are warmer then the others, upon arrival performed service checklist by checking motors, voltages, amperages, capacitor, filter, delta t, drain lines, duct work, refrigerant charge, etc., etc.. while performing the check list found that the trouble areas are on the low static side of the plenum which is not allowing for enough pressure to send air to these areas, solution would be to add manual dampers to living area, kitchen area, and small dining area, close them down a little bit to force more air to problem areas. Price to remove duct work, add manual dampers, reattach and seal duct work, including all materials and labor looking at a price of 630.00. 7/21/2020 Came out to add manual dampers to living area, kitchen, hallway and laundry room duct work, to allow for more air to media room and bedroom, as well as clear drain line for master suite unit. Upon arrival added manual dampers to duct work and then closed dampers added at about 33-50% to allow for more
Came out due to down stairs thermostat went blank, upon arrival found that thermostat was blank, upon arrival to the indoor unit found that float switch had triggered due to water being in the safety switch, also notice that condensate lines for both units teed together, spoke with client about adding Jones valve to drain lines to allow shutting off of drain line to one or the other systems so that drain line can be clear properly, client agreed, installed Jones valves and then performed drain line clean out. While performing drain line clean out notice that it didn’t seem to have a tough restriction, went ahead and checked primary drain pan to check and see if the was something blocking primary condensate, primary drain pan looks clear, since we just replaced the evaporator coil went ahead and checked delta t and refrigerant charge, Delta T is at 20° with 78° coming into the unit and 58° coming out of the unit, refrigerant charge is at 5.5° so cool and 17.8° call mom this is an indica
7-10-2020, Upon arrival the thermostat was off in customer explained that the system was not cooling properly. Call the system for cooling and check the outdoor unit and found the dual capacitor had failed. Replaced dual capacitor and inspected the rest of the system. Verified compressor and outdoor fan is functioning properly. System now has a 20° split across the coil system is functioning properly and ready for summer. Thank you
Came out to perform prepaid AC maintenance on clients 2 Trane systems, upon arrival performed maintenance by checking motors, voltages, amperages, drain lines, float switch, delta t, capacitors, contactor, refrigerant charge, washed outdoor units out with water hose, etc., etc.. both system are operating per manufacturer specifications, please see checklists for details.
Came out to perform pre-paid AC maintenance on clients six-year-old Trane system, upon arrival perform maintenance by checking filters, motors, voltages, amperage, capacitors, contactors, hard start kit, delta T, refrigerant charge, etc. etc. System is operating well within manufacture specs please see maintenance Report for details. Also replaced clients 20 x 20 x 4 3/8 filter and left two more for client.
Came out because both clients systems stopped working after power outage, upon arrival found that client has Trane 624 thermostats on both systems went thru settings and reset thermostats to units, started up systems I the cool mode and took delta t’s on upstairs unit Delta T was 20° and on the downstairs unit delta T was 19°. Systems are operating per manufacturer specifications.
Came out to drop off 8- 20x20x4 filters as well as perform platinum maintenance on Clients 1yr, upon arrival gave client their filters, and then performed maintenance, performed very through maintenance because client state that she had a very high energy bill last month. Did have a few questions for tech support that they were able to help me with. Also registered clients 1050 thermostat with nexia, system is operating per manufacturer spec.
Came out for a no cool, upon arrival found that there was no call to outdoor unit, after further investigation found that the primary condensate drain line was clogged up and that the access condensation had triggered the float switch. Was able to clear drain line with 75psi of nitrogen, emptied float switch and started up system. System started right up and began cooling to manufacturer spec.
Came out for a no heat call on home client is moving into today, upon arrival found that the gas line shut off valve was in the off position, turned it to the on position than reset high voltage, system came directly on and began heating. Tested operation by checking motors, capacitor, wiring, electrical connections, heat exchanger, igniter, flame sensor, flame, pressure switch, etc, etc.. system is now operating per manufacturer spec at this time.
Came out for a prepaid heat maintenance, performed heat maintenance by checking amperages, voltages, filter, motors, capacitors, heat rises in both strip and heat pump heat, etc.etc. Replaced 5mfd warranty capacitor for condenser fan motor due to it reading weaker than manufacturer spec. At this time system is operating per manufacturer spec.
Performed precision cooling tune up on a 3.5 ton Trane and a 5 Ton Lennox gas systems. Thoroughly washed condenser coils, and replaced restricted air filters. Monitored refrigerant levels using sub cooling. Checked both contacts for signs of burning or pitting. Replaced both dual run capacitors. Cleared drains. Inspected all electrical components and connections. Performed amp draws on compressor, condenser fan motor, and indoor blower motors. Systems are now cooling as intended
