Excellent Replacement of Old Systems
Lynn and Chris - Benbrook, TX
Our home had older R-22 1.5 an 3 ton A/C systems. They were replaced with Amana 2 and 3 ton heat pumps. Since their installation, they have been used in both heating and cooling modes.Comfort Masters left the installation area in the attic very clean. They vacuumed the area in the attic at the end of each day. Old equipment was removed as requested. The outside installation was clean and equipment installation looks clean and orderly. The new controls are easy to program and adjust. The systems are both two stage and operate at two different levels depending on how much cooling or heating is required. The system automatically chooses the level.I think the new systems are a big step up compared to the previously installed systems. Overall, I’m extremely happy with the new equipment and Comfort Masters personnel both pre-sale and installation.

I then performed a basic for maintenance and cleaned flame sensor. The flame sensor is not reading 2.8µA. Checked blower capacitor and reading 7.4 µF of 7.5 µF, blower motor at 3.76 A, ID and motor at .93 A, temperature rise at 60°, 16 x 25 x 1“ filter has just been replaced. Flames are blue, safeties are working, flue pipe is secure, gas line is tight. I did discuss options of signing up for our club membership but Mr. Bertram was not interested at this time.
