Excellent Replacement of Old Systems
Lynn and Chris - Benbrook, TX
Our home had older R-22 1.5 an 3 ton A/C systems. They were replaced with Amana 2 and 3 ton heat pumps. Since their installation, they have been used in both heating and cooling modes.Comfort Masters left the installation area in the attic very clean. They vacuumed the area in the attic at the end of each day. Old equipment was removed as requested. The outside installation was clean and equipment installation looks clean and orderly. The new controls are easy to program and adjust. The systems are both two stage and operate at two different levels depending on how much cooling or heating is required. The system automatically chooses the level.I think the new systems are a big step up compared to the previously installed systems. Overall, I’m extremely happy with the new equipment and Comfort Masters personnel both pre-sale and installation.

Had a leak in unit. Trisha worked extra hard to get me fit in, she is a real treasure. James showed up on time, identified problem and got it fixed. This is my second time using them, and both have been very positive customer service experiences. Definitely recommend.
9-12-2020, upon arrival the thermostat was off but the outdoor system was still running and the evaporator coil was frozen. Check the outdoor unit and found that the contactor head welded shut causing the outdoor unit to stay on. Talk to customer about our club membership and she declined at this time. Advised her that her parts are out of warranty. She Approved repairs and I replaced the contactor. Tested system operation and system is functioning OK at this time. System does have a 19.5° temperature split across the coil with blower motor at 3.5 A, pressures are, suction pressure 121 psi, liquid pressure 272 psi, such in temperature 54°, liquid temperature 82°, superheat 12°, sub cool 8°. Advise customer if they burn candles that they should replace the filter more frequently. Wax and suet buildup on the filter. There is a hole behind the thermostat that is giving false readings on temperature. Advise customer they need to sell up the hole. I did shove some insulation inside but they

7-07-2020, signed up Miss Patricia for a silver club maintenance plan. I was able to unclog her drain line and clear it. Also install drain pan tablets to help prevent future clogs. Recommend this once a year during the summer. Filter size is 20 x 25 x 4 and needs to be replaced Patricia ordered some online and they are coming soon. Temperature split across the coil is 20°, superheat is 23°, subcool is 8°, inside temperature was 90°. Found that thermostat was not properly communicating with the Wi-Fi. We reset the Wi-Fi and thermostat is now communicating. Washed outdoor condenser. System is now ready for summer. I did mention search protectors and air quality. Customer is not interested at this time. Thank you
